I co-produced a student charity concert with five other students, the “Happy Campers” team. We created, produced, and marketed a concert from bottom to top in our Music Industry class at USC Thornton with $0. We found, booked, and communicated with artists, found and booked a venue, arranged on-site logistics, marketed around USC's campus/online, and found sponsorships to execute the event from start to finish. My role focused on:
• Coordinating artist relations with 2 of 3 performers
• Developing the concert’s visual identity/branding via designing digital + physical promotional materials
• Creating teaser posts and artist spotlights on social channels @happycampersusc
• Securing a gratis partnership/sponsorship with a USC PRSSA client + acquired gratis items for raffles (drew an extra $60 profit)
The concert drew nearly a full house and raised $690 for Troy Camp, which provides activities and mentorship for youth in South L.A.
