In my first semester at USC, I was eager to learn the ropes of the Adobe Suite (to venture outside my high school Canva graphics). In PR 486 Multimedia PR Content: Intro to Digital Design, I applied these new skills to create and design a PR package for a faux record company's festival.
Concept:
"SunnyStar Records is a major record label based in Los Angeles, California. Our most famous clients include the biggest names in music, including Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and Lorde. Our label's name is derived from the pop music flurry surrounding the feeling of both "starry" melancholy/woe and "sunny" joyous daylight celebration seen in the lyrics of our major artist’s discographies. The dichotomy and range of each of the artists is the central theme we are searching for when signing up-and-coming creatives."
The Sunny Star Festival is divided into two parts of the day. For the first half, (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) concert-goers will be able to “soak up the sun” and listen to the artist's happier albums/songs on the beach. From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., they will be able to “sway under the stars on the sea” at night in a yacht.
